ok, so i JUST finished sewing dress #3.
but i'm letting the craft glue dry.
wait, craft glue on a dress?
ok, let me explain my hand crafted dresses:
- i use glue when i don't want my sewing seams to show (it works! but the material gets a little hard :/)
- i sometimes sew seams more than once because it didn't work the first time. so NEVER look on the wrong side (inside) of the dress.
- i tend to layer my material and sew the wrong spot so to fix the mistake, i stretch the fabric to hope the material will even out. and that DOESNT work. dont try it. it just rips your seams so you end up sewing it again anyways
- i will sew half a line, go on facebook and finish the line after im satisfied with "browsing"
- i cant sew zippers so i leave them out and hanging. who cares!
- i use pen to mark lines instead of sewing chalk. so to clean it, i use hand soap and water since the washroom is near by. i use a toothbrush to brush off the pen.
thats enough. i think im done exposing the fact that i cant actually sew! LOL
ugh... 1 more dress to go
...i need to start a 5th dress..
...i need to make 2 fantasy styles dress drawings, framed and designed
anddd...im DONE.
